Livingston Manor Man Accused Of Robbing Gas Station

Police said he also tried to rob a Dollar General store.

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — A Sullivan County man was arrested after being accused of robbing a gas station and trying to rob a Dollar General.

The New York State Police said Ollen Eck III, 38, of Livingston Manor, was arrested Tuesday and charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree attempted robbery.

Police said Eck robbed the Sunoco gas station March 16 and tried to rob the Dollar General March 18. Both locations are in Livingston Manor.

Eck was arrested in the town of Thompson and was arraigned in the Town of Rockland Court.

He was sent to the Sullivan County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the New York State Police at 845-292-6600.

State police were assisted by the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office and the Village of Monticello Police Department.
