Middletown Police Pursuit Ends In Fatal Motorcycle Crash: State Police

The operator was a 19-year-old Orange County resident, police said.

ORANGE COUNTY, NY — A 19-year-old from New Hampton died during a police chase Saturday when his motorcycle crashed in Wawayanda, state police said.

Officers of the Middletown Police Department were pursuing a 2003 Yamaha R1 motorcycle eastbound on Dolson Avenue at a high rate of speed that crashed into a westbound SUV turning left onto Route 6, state police said.

State troopers responded at 7:20 p.m.

The operator of the motorcycle, who was pronounced dead at the scene, has been identified as Noe Dominguez, police said.

The operator of the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox was transported to Garnet Health Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
