Police Seek Public's Help In Shooting Death Of Smallwood Woman
Another person was also struck by gunfire in Monticello early Tuesday, police said.
MONTICELLO, NY — New York State police are investigating a shooting in the early morning hours Tuesday that killed a Smallwood resident.
Monticello village police and state troopers responded to a report of a shooting outside a building in the Sleepy Hollow Apartment Complex. They said Amy Redmond, and another man were struck by gunfire. Redmond, 48, died.
State police ask anyone with information on this incident to contact Investigators at the NYSP Liberty Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI )at 845-344-5300. All information can be kept confidential.
