YONKERS, NY — A man who police say was caught in the act of rummaging through a car parked on the street compounded his troubles by missing his date with the judge.

Raymondo Sepulveda of Brooklyn was found sitting in the driver’s seat of a pick-up truck at Central Park Avenue and Midland Terrace, just before 2 a.m. on March 28, according to police. He even admitted in body-cam footage, that has since gone viral, that the pick-up was "not his."

Officers say they found that he stole several items from the pick-up and placed him under arrest.

However, Sepulveda failed to appear in court on those charges, according to officials. Yonkers police say he now has an active warrant on the charges.

Anyone with information about Sepulveda's whereabouts is asked to contact the Yonkers Police Department’s Warrant Squad.

Police said Sepulveda has a history of nine arrests, ranging from theft to robbery, and has failed to appear in court four times in the past.
