Family Pleads For Help For Loved One In Crisis, Last Seen At Pier 84

Police say the New Rochelle 20-year-old left home on a bike after behaving in a "paranoid" way, saying he was being followed.

NEW YORK — Police are asking the public to help a family reunite with a 20-year-old in crisis.

On Friday, June 28, 2024, at approximately 5 p.m., Neyson Estela, 2o, was seen by family leaving Pleasant Street in New Rochelle, on a bicycle.

Estela was said to be acting paranoid, and stated to his brother that people were following him, according to authorities. He had posted on social media, saying "BYE" to his family.

Estela was last seen wearing black shorts, a black T-shirt, black sneakers, a gray baseball hat and was carrying a black backpack. He is described as 5'08" tall, weighing 136 pounds.

On Saturday, Neyson was seen in the area of pier 84, near W. 46th St. and 12th Ave. in New York City. He was seen running northbound after he had taken off his backpack and shirt.
