Gun Menacing Investigation Leads To Brass Knuckles, Loaded Glock
Detectives found the car believed to be used in a scary incident that happened on Tuesday — what they found next was troubling.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Police say that locating the vehicle involved in a frightening incident on Tuesday led to the arrest of two men yesterday evening.
On Wednesday, just after 5:30 p.m., New Rochelle detectives located a vehicle at D’Onofrio Field that was suspected as being used in a menacing with a handgun incident that had occurred the previous day. As investigators approached the vehicle to interview the driver, they spotted a set of brass knuckles in plain view in the vehicle. The license plate on the vehicle was registered to another vehicle, according to police.
The driver was placed under arrest. A search of the vehicle led to a 9mm Glock handgun with 17 rounds in an extended magazine. At this point, the passenger in the car was also placed under arrest.
