Man Hospitalized After Storage Trailer Fire In Suffolk: Cops

It started at about 11:10 a.m. outside of a home, Suffolk police said.

SELDEN, NY — A man was hospitalized Friday morning after a fire broke out in a storage trailer outside of a Selden home on Friday morning, Suffolk police said.

The trailer caught fire in the rear of the Selden Court home at around 11:10 a.m., according to police. The man was hospitalized for the evaluation of a minor burn, police said.

The department's Arson Squad is investigating, a police spokesperson said.

It was one of two fires area firefighters responded to on Friday morning.

A fire broke out at a Terryville home at around 6:22 a.m., but no one was injured.
