Great South Bay Brewery Set For Station Yards Mixed-Use Development In Ronkonkoma

A lease has been signed for 8,428 square feet of space at the mixed-use development with a projected opening in Spring 2024.

RONKONKOMA, NY — Great South Bay Brewery has signed a lease for 8,428 square feet of space at the mixed-use development, Station Yards, at the Long Island Railroad Station in Ronkonkoma, with an expected opening in Spring 2024, developers TRITEC Real Estate said Thursday.

Great South Bay Brewery, owned by the Davis family, was started in 2009 and has a home base in Bay Shore where a variety of craft beers, including IPAs, stouts, and ales are produced. There's also a taproom that offers food, live music, golf simulators, and events.

Brian Davis, vice president of Great South Bay Brewery, said he is "ecstatic to expand its operation."

"GSB is looking to replicate the same concept that has made our brewery such a success in Bay Shore," he said. "We emphasize creating a laid-back vibe, choice local live music, a vast selection of quality craft beers, and other locally sourced wine and spirits paired with delicious food offerings to round out your experience.

"We are excited to greet you all at our new location with a cold pint and warm cheers," he said.

Station Yards will have 1,450 apartments, 195,000 square feet of retail space, and 360,000 square feet of office space once completed by the projected date in 2024. The first phase of 489 apartment homes, Alston Station Yards, was finished in 2021.

The current development phase includes 388 apartment homes, 70,000 square feet of retail space, 16,500 square feet of office, and a public plaza.

TRITEC Real Estate's Vice President Jim Coughlan, said the organization's staff is "thrilled to welcome Great South Bay Brewery, an iconic Long Island brand, as the first tenant at Station Yards, our new mixed-use development at the Ronkonkoma Train Station."

Station Yards retail leasing broker Steve D'Orazio of Colliers said he and his co-workers, Maria Valanzano and Jake Horowitz, are "elated to welcome Great South Bay Brewery to Station Yards.”
