Wantagh Native Makes Top 24 on 'American Idol'

Could Long Island be home to the next “American Idol?”

This week, Wantagh’s Adam Ezegelian advanced to the Top 24 in the latest season of the popular singing competition.

This week, Ezegelian wowed the audience with Whitesnake’s classic, “Here I Go Again.”

Singer and American Idol Judge Jennifer Lopez was clearly digging Ezegelian’s performance as she banged her head and mouthed the words during the song.

Ezegelian, 21, is a toy design major at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
