Sesame Place Celebrating Tango 'Gotcha Day' Weekend

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —They're calling it "Gotcha Day."

But for Sesame Place, it's a "Gotcha Day" weekend Friday through Sunday for Tamgo at the Middletown Township amusement park.

Guests can celebrate the second anniversary of Tango, Elmo’s adopted puppy, who debuted at the park in 2022.

Festivities include:

• All-New! Furry Friends Doggy Dance Party —Guests can join Elmo, Tango, Zoe, and Prairie Dawn to do one of Tango’s favorite things: Dance. Located at Oscar’s Wacky Taxi Stage.
• All-New! Puppy Park Flower Maze —Perfect for little ones, the all-new Puppy Park Flower Maze invites guests to stroll amongst colorful flowers and puppy-themed décor. Located outside of Trader Bert’s.
• All-New! Puppy Games —Throughout the day, guests can join in the fun with puppy-themed games, activities, and additional surprises on the Sesame Street Neighborhood.
• Elmo & Tango’s Gotcha Day Scavenger Hunt —Guests can search throughout the park for all of the items that Elmo needs to take care of Tango. Guests can turn in completed activity sheets at Mr. Hooper’s Gift Shop for a prize. While supplies last.

Everyone’s favorite furry friends, sporting puppy-themed costumes in celebration of Tango’s Gotcha Day, will be available for guests to meet and snap a photo with throughout the park. Specialty Meet & Greets are as follows:

• Tango will be available for Meet & Greets along the Sesame Street Neighborhood and at the Sesame Street Theater.
• Barkley will be available for Meet & Greets at Oscar’s Wacky Taxi Stage.
• Season Pass Members can visit the Sesame Street Theater at 2 p.m. for an exclusive Meet & Greet with Elmo, Tango, Zoe, and Rocco.
• Guests can spot Tango in the Sesame Street Party Parade and in Sesame Place Philadelphia’s newest stage show, “Welcome to the Party!”

Park Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with water attractions open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
