Delco Restaurant Giving Gift Card Sale Proceeds To Workers

Harvest Seasonal Grill and Wine Bar in Glen Mills is donating all gift card proceeds to its workers amid the coronavirus outbreak.

GLEN MILLS, PA — A restaurant in Delaware County is giving back to its workers as impacts of the new coronavirus, known as COVID-19, continues to grow locally and nationally.

Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar in Glen Mills said it will give 100 percent of online gift card sales to its employees.

The restaurant, which has eight other locations, laid off 700 employees. Harvest said the layoff ideally are temporary.

Owner Dave Magrogan will give the money to employee payroll to help his employees pay their rent and other bills.

Harvest has a goal of $100,000 in gift card sales. So far, Harvest has raised $16,000 in gift card sales.

The Glen Mills location, 549 Wilmington Pike, 555 E Lancaster Ave., is open for delivery and take out only. Locations in Newtown (Bucks County), North Wales, and Montage are also offering delivery and take out.

The Radnor location is closed until further notice.
