Police Seek Aid In Solving Deadly North Hills Home Depot Lot Shooting

Police are seeking video recordings in connection with the death of a man shot last week in the parking lot of the Ohio Township Home Depot.

OHIO TOWNSHIP, PA — Allegheny County police are seeking the public's assistance as they investigate the death of man man shot in a Home Deport parking lot last week.

They are looking for video recordings in connection with the death of Jordan Geiger, 18, a recent Freedom Area High School graduate.

Police responded to a single vehicle crash on Ben Avon Heights Road near Gass Road at 6:20 p.m. Friday. First responders found good Samaritans performing CPR on Geiger, who was in cardiac arrest.

Geiger was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:28 p.m. Medical staff discovered he had been shot once in the torso.

County police on Wednesday requested that anyone who was in the Home Depot or adjacent Giant Eagle parking lot between 6 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. and has phone or dash camera video to share it with them. Detectives are attempting to identify the occupants of a white Chevy Traverse and a blue-gray Honda Accord with New York plates.
