7 Shot Wednesday Evening In Philadelphia: Police

Two men and five women, ages 16 to 47, were hurt in an early Wednesday evening shooting in Philadelphia, police said.

PHILADELPHIA — Seven people were shot early Wednesday evening in Philadelphia, according to police.

The shooting occurred at about 6:22 p.m. on the 2800 block of North Bambrey Street.

Shot were two men, 19 and 23 years old, and five women, ages 16, 18, 29, 31, and 47.

Six of the victims were taken to Temple Hospital, where they are in stable condition. The 16-year-old was taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital, where she is in stable condition, police said.

Police found 17 shell casings at the scene of the shooting, Fox 29 reports.

Police described the suspects as three unknown black males. Two were wearing all black and one was wearing all white.

They were in a 2004-2008 charcoal gray Acura TSX with an unknown Pennsylvania tag, missing front grille, damage to rear trunk with yellow tie down strap securing trunk, numerous decals in rear window. The vehicle was last seen traveling eastbound on Somerset Street towards 24th Street.

Police have not made any arrests or found any weapons.
