Phoenixville Superintendent Search Begins Thursday, April 27

The community is invited to provide input on the selection of a new superintendent for the Phoenixville Area School District.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA —The Phoenixville Area School District invites the community to provide input on the selection of a new superintendent to replace Dr. Alan D. Fegley who is retiring at the end of August.

The meetings are both virtual and in-person.

The district covers 22 square miles and consists of the borough of Phoenixville, and East Pikeland and Schuylkill townships. The district has 4,000 students.

It has six schools: Phoenixville Area Learning Center, Barkley Elementary, Manavon Elementary, Schuylkill Elementary, Phoenixville Area Middle School, and Phoenixville High School.

The school board hired Hazard, Young Attea & Associates, Schaumburg, Ill., to recruit a superintendent.

The community is invited to a meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 4 at Barkley Elementary Auditorium, 320 Second Ave., Phoenixville.
