Postal Worker Allegedly Hoarded 25,000 Pieces Of Mail

A Philadelphia postal worker who hoarded 22,500 pieces of mail has been charged by federal prosecutors, according to numerous reports.

Patrick D’Ambrosio, 48, has been charged with obstruction of mail after authorities found the letters and parcels at his home and in his car, the Inquirer reported.

U.S. Postal Inspectors say D’Ambrosio failed to deliver the mail between May 2014 and January 2015 along his route in the city’s Tacony section, the Inquirer said.

The misdemeanor charge has a punishment of six months in prison and a fine, the Associated Press said.
