Boys & Girls Clubs Collect Gifts With Holiday Giving Trees At RI Planet Fitness Gyms
Each tree features wish tags of children served by the Boys & Girls Club who is in need of a gift this holiday season.
RHODE ISLAND — It is officially the season of giving, so Planet Fitness locations throughout Rhode Island are collecting unwrapped gifts for local Boys & Girls Clubs.
Giving trees are on display at each club location through Dec. 15. Each tree features wish tags of children served by the Boys & Girls Club. Planet Fitness members are invited to fulfill a wish by selecting a tag and purchasing the item listed to help make the holidays brighter for the child in need.
"Planet Fitness is proud to partner with Boys & Girls Clubs of America as part of the brand’s national philanthropic initiative, The Judgement Free Generation, designed to help end bullying, build youth self-confidence through fitness, and spread inclusivity and kindness," a Planet Fitness spokesperson said in a news release.
