Roger Williams Park Zoo Holiday Lights Spectacular Returns This Month

More than 3.5 million lights will fill Roger Williams Park Zoo this holiday season. Here's when the light show opens.

PROVIDENCE, RI — The second annual walk-through Holiday Lights Spectacular is back at Roger Williams Park Zoo this November.

This year's spectacular is even bigger and brighter, with more than 3.5 million illuminated lights that transform the zoo into a winter wonderland.

The spectacular opens on Nov. 25 and is open through Jan. 1, 2023. Holiday Lights will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

"Bundle up, grab an adult beverage, hot chocolate, or roast some s’mores and stroll through 40 acres of illuminated pathways," zoo officials said.

"From radiant reindeer to sparkly snowmen, this is a must-see experience this holiday season."

For the kids, Santa Claus will be at the spectacular on Friday nights in December through Christmas.

The visit is free to families with a same-night ticket for the 5 or 6 p.m. timeslots only. Tickets for Holiday Lights must be purchased in advance online.
