Meet our brand new Patch Pet of the Week: Hans!

Hans is an adorable 3-year-old French Bulldog from North Wales, Pennsylvania. He has the personality of a clown, and loves taking naps with his furry friend siblings.

First day home

Even though Hans is super playful and friendly now, he wasn't that way when his family first bought him home. He was a bit shy and he really just wanted all the cuddles from his new family members. How adorable.

Favorite treat

Like most of us, Hans has a big sweet tooth — his favorite treat yo'self snack is ice cream! We're with you on this one, buddy.

Weirdest thing he ever ate

This pup eats bugs! Yes, bugs. At least the family won't have to pay for an exterminator, right?

Likes

As we said, Hans loves his naps, and he'll make sure his family knows when he's napping with his snores. But, when he's not sleeping, he enjoys playing with his ball all day long.

Dislikes

Unlike some dogs who love sticking their head out of the window on a long drive and feeling the breeze in their fur, Hans stays away from anything with wheels. It must be tough getting him to the vet.

Funniest habit

It's important to keep fit, even for a dog. That's why Hans loves doing his morning yoga – and his family gets a kick out of it.

Favorite toy

His toy of choice is his squeaky ball, he can spend all day chasing it around and making a bunch of noise while doing it!

"He will try his hardest to protect you"

Hans is very protective and caring. If he sees anyone hurt, he will try his hardest to protect you. He loves to be the center of attention and will do funny things to get the attention if he's not. When we go on walks when he gets tired he falls to the ground and won't move and demands to be carried. Hans is a true Ham.
