Patch Pet Of The Week: Zeus

Say hello to Zeus, our Patch Pet of the Week!

Our latest Patch Pet of the Week is Zeus, aka Zeuser Reuser! Zeus is a 4-year-old Teddy Bear Pomeranian. He lives in Princeton, New Jersey and is so loved by his owners. Zeus was purchased from a breeder in North Carolina. He is known to be quite the momma's boy and goes everywhere his mom goes.

First day home

As soon as his owner saw his picture online, she knew she had to have Zeus. Since he was a little older than most puppies, the breeder wanted to keep him to breed him, but as luck would have it, he ultimately couldn't. He had to be picked up his sister and when they were ready to go home, their flight was delayed for hours and didn't arrive home until after midnight. But it was worth the wait! As soon as his owner met him, they were inseparable. He slept above her head and has ever since that night!

Likes

Zeus loves to get his stomach and head scratched. Don't think about stopping though, he wants you to scratch all day!

Dislikes

This pup isn't much of a swimmer so no pool days for him.

Weirdest thing he ever ate

One time, he ate grass and then proceeded to sneeze it out almost immediately.

Favorite treat

This eco-friendly dog loves his Earth Animal No Hyde Raw-Hyde treat!

Funniest habit

When he wants his very large Lab mix "sister" to come outside with him, he makes sure she knows it by pouncing on her and barking like crazy!

Favorite toy

Zeus likes any kind of tug toy.

"Zeus is a bit of a rockstar"

Weighing in at 16 pounds (which is very large for a Pomeranian), and sporting extremely light brown eyes, Zeus is a little bit unusual for his breed. Maybe that's what makes him such an Instagram rockstar. His Instagram is adorable and deserves a follow from any dog lover.
