Code With A Cop is a community event hosted at theCoderSchool Montgomery, aimed at educating kids about internet safety in a fun and engaging way. Held on September 13th from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM, this event will be led by Officer Salvatore Intili and fellow Montgomery Township law enforcement officers who are passionate about keeping kids safe online. The session will cover essential topics like recognizing cyberbullying, understanding the importance of privacy settings, avoiding online scams, and how to safely navigate social media. Kids will learn practical tips on how to protect their personal information, what to do if they encounter something suspicious online, and how to make smart decisions when using the internet. This is a great opportunity for children to build their digital literacy while also getting to know and interact with the officers who help keep their community safe. After learning about internet safety, kids from the community will be guided by CoderSchool Ambassadors in a coding session with MTPD officers. This FREE event promises to be fun for the whole family! Join us at theCoderSchool Montgomery for a night of fun, safety and community engagement. Light refreshments will be served.

NJ Cannabis Certified Expands Cannabis Education Programs with New Sessions Starting September 23
Raritan, NJ &mdash; August 20, 2024 &mdash; NJ Cannabis Certified (NJCC) in partnership with Valley Wellness dispensary is excited to announce the launch of new cannabis education sessions beginning September 23, 2024 in collaboration with multiple colleges across New Jersey. As the State&rsquo;s cannabis industry continues to expand, these programs provide participants with the critical knowledge and skills needed to thrive in this rapidly evolving sector.
The 15-hour crash course on the New Jersey cannabis industry is offered online while providing participants real time access to course instructors. NJCC covers a wide range of topics which are essential to successfully working within New Jersey&rsquo;s regulated cannabis market. Participants will gain valuable insights on cannabis laws, safety, retail operations, and more, ensuring they are well-prepared to hit the ground running their first day on the job.

Founded in 2020, NJ Cannabis Certified is a trusted leader in cannabis education and workforce development. NJCC is committed to delivering industry-relevant education and training to individuals seeking to enter or advance in New Jersey&rsquo;s burgeoning cannabis industry. Follow the instructions on the College website to the register and pay the to the college directly.</li><li>Register directly with NJCC and take a self-paced, asynchronous version of the course. Register by clicking <a href="http://www.njcannacert.com/registration/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">HERE</a> and following the instructions to Register Directly and pay the tuition through the NJCC website. You can start the program immediately and finish as quickly as you need to. </li><li>NJCC offers course packages for employers that are required to provide training for their employees.
