Subramanyam, who was endorsed by Wexton, declared victory in a statement Tuesday night and vowed to keep the district blue.

"I am honored to be your Democratic nominee for Virginia's 10th Congressional District," said Subramanyam. "This district is my home. I got married here. My kids were born here. The issues our community faces are personal to our family. I will continue to be a champion for families here and make sure everyone feels like they have a voice."

Clancy received an endorsement from Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin following his primary win. Before the primary, Clancy was endorsed by Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman and Prince William County Supervisors Tom Gordy and Yesli Vega, among others.

"Congratulations Mike Clancy! Mike will be a phenomenal leader for #VA10 and I am proud to endorse him." Youngkin said in a tweet.
