Ashby Ponds Pets Receive Blessing

(Ashburn, Va.) - More than a dozen dogs who call Ashby Ponds home received a blessing this month in recognition of the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. Reverend Matt Sergent of Galilee United Methodist Church in Sterling, Va. visited the community for the event and presided over the ceremony. This event is an annual tradition for Ashby Ponds, which is a pet-friendly community.
