BRAMBLETON, VA — One of the two EatLoco Farmers Markets that was relocated in the spring will permanently move back to its old location.

EatLoco Farmers Markets founder and CEO Dan Hine said in a social media post to customers that the Brambleton location will move back to Olympia Drive near Brambleton Town Center as of Sunday, June 23. The market will also be extended onto the grass leading to Brambleton Town Center to provide more space for vendors and space for customers to enjoy food and occasional live music.

The farmers market had moved from the town center on April 6 to Barn at Brambleton, 24439 Evergreen Mills Road in Ashburn. Hine cited parking challenges at the Barn at Brambleton as a key reason why the farmers market was moving back.

"We apologize for any inconvenience this caused over the past few months. We underestimated the increase in traffic that the market would attract at the Barn," Hine shared with customers. "Despite our efforts to explore various solutions to alleviate the parking situation, none proved adequate to meet the needs of our customers."

Moving back to Brambleton Town Center gives farmers market customers access to two parking garages and surrounding parking lots. The location also allows for some customers to walk to the market, which was not an option at the Barn at Brambleton.

"Our priority is to provide the best market experience for our customers, and we believe that returning to Olympia Drive is the best way to do this," Hine wrote.

The other relocated farmers market at Christian Fellowship Church (44505 Atwater Drive in Ashburn), has experienced similar parking challenges. The farmers market moved from One Loudoun on March 9 and was renamed EatLoco Farmers Market at Ashbrook. Farmers market organizers have noted that parking has been tight at the new church location and said they were exploring overflow parking options.
