Loudoun County Dancers Represent the State of Virginia in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!

Fifteen dancers from Studio Bleu Dance Center in Ashburn, VA represent the state of Virginia in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Ashburn, VA - Fifteen dancers from Studio Bleu Dancer Center in Ashburn, VA represented the State of Virginia in the 88th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City on Thanksgiving Day.

“It is a huge honor for our dancers to be selected to represent the great state of Virginia!” exclaims Studio Bleu Owner, Kimberly Rishi. “This was an unbelievable opportunity for our dancers to be part of such a lasting American tradition. Then to have the opportunity to perform LIVE on Herald Square...it doesn’t get any better!”

The dancers marched 2.5 miles from Central Park to Herald Square where they performed a fast paced hip-hop routine with an upbeat video gaming theme. This will be the eleventh year that Studio Bleu dancers represented Virginia as part of the Spirit of American Dance Team. Bleu dancers along with 500 other high school dancers from across the United States spent a week in the Big Apple jammed packed with dance rehearsals, broadway shows, shopping, site seeing and ending with the parade and dance performance.
