ASHBURN, VA — As the farmers market season ramps up in the spring, two year-round markets in the Ashburn area will be moving a short distance from their current locations.

EatLoco Farmers Markets, the operator of three Loudoun County markets and two at Amazon's HQ2 in Arlington, announced the upcoming relocations of the One Loudoun Market and Brambleton Market.

The One Loudoun Market will permanently relocate to the Christian Fellowship Church at 44505 Atwater Drive, Ashburn, VA as of Saturday, March 9. It will be renamed EatLoco Farmers Market at Ashbrook.

Dan Hine, founder & CEO of EatLoco and the EatLoco Farmers Market, said the markets have grown and expanded, prompting a need for more space.

"For over seven years, we've proudly served the Loudoun community, starting from a small farmers market at One Loudoun with just a few vendors and customers in 2017, to now managing several markets in Loudoun and two in Arlington at Amazon's HQ2," Hine wrote in a message to farmers market customers. "Our goal each week has been to support local small businesses, providing them with a platform to thrive and connect with thousands of customers every weekend."

The One Loudoun Market will move to the large parking lot of the Christian Fellowship Church in Ashbrook, providing more space and ample parking. The market, which started with a few vendors, now has over 120 weekly vendors.

Hours will remain the same on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Hine said the Brambleton market outgrew its space two to three years ago. He noted the concern that customers would not be able to walk to the market in the new location.

"To those who used to walk to the market, I apologize for the inconvenience of now having to drive," Hine shared. "Our intention is not to make things harder for you, but we hope the connections you've made with our farmers and small business owners will make the short car trip worthwhile."

The Brambleton Market is held Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
