100 Campers to Get Year of Free Meals at Chick-fil-A South Riding Grand Opening

Chick-fil-A will be giving out a year of free meals to the first 100 campers at the Sept. 29 Grand Opening of the South Riding location.

CHANTILLY, VA β€” Chick-fil-A will open a new location on Thursday, Sept. 29 at 43310 Defender Drive in South Riding, according to a Chick-fil-A announcement. To help celebrate the new South Riding Chick-fil-A restaurant, Operator Charles Bohs will award the first 100 campers free Chick-fil-A for a year.

A tradition going back almost 13 years, Chick-fil-A’s First 100 celebration has given away nearly $27 million in free food through 2015 and continues to be the chain’s signature grand opening event, according to Chick-fil-A.

Chick-fil-A's most passionate customers often arrive more than 24 hours in advance, packing tents, lawn chairs, computers, TVs, couches and all kinds of gear to make their wait more comfortable and entertaining. Chick-fil-A provides security, entertainment, games and, of course, plenty of fresh Chick-fil-A.

If there are less than 100 people, Chick-fil-A continue to register participants until we reach 100. The community promotion is open to people living in specific zip codes surrounding the restaurant.
