Call for Artists: 64th Annual Fredericksburg Art Show & Sale

Entry forms are now available to enter artistic pieces into the 64th Annual Fredericksburg Art Show & Sale presented by Fredericksburg Parks & Recreation and The Woman’s Club of Fredericksburg. The show will be open to the public February 27 – March 8 at the Dorothy Hart Community Center.

This show is judged and will feature cash prizes such as $500 for Best In Show in the following categories:

• OIL PAINTS
• PASTELS
• WATERCOLOR PAINTS - Includes acrylics & gouache used as watercolor
• ACRYLIC PAINTS - Includes acrylics used as oils
• DRAWING - Includes pencil, ink, sumi, charcoal, crayon
• PHOTOGRAPHY - Includes film & digital photography
• DIGITAL ART - Original images created using computer with use of painting & drawing tools and layers
• 3-D SCULPTURE - Includes clay, ceramic, wood, metal, stone
• MIXED MEDIA - Combining more than one medium. No computer generated artwork
• NOVICE - Beginning artists with two years or less of art experience

Entry forms can be found at www.fredericksburgva.gov/specialevents. The deadline is February 6 or when the show reaches maximum number of entries, whichever comes first. Forms must be dropped off in person or mailed to:
