Chuy's to Open Tuesday at Springfield Town Center

Fun eatery features Tex-Mex menu, Elvis shrine, outdoor patio, free nacho car during happy hour.

Chuy’s opened its doors Saturday at Springfield Town Center for a sneak preview of its menu, decor and more before its opening Tuesday, Oct. 28.

The Tex-Mex restaurant features three dining areas, a large bar, two outdoor dining areas, a tortilla-making area and a huge kitchen with an emphasis on fresh ingredients. The back of the bar — serving up margaritas and other also opens to one of the outdoor patios.

The eclectic decor includes hubcaps on the ceiling, straw light fixtures made in Mexico, an Elvis shrine/booth and a nacho bar in the back of a classic auto. The nacho bar is free during happy hour from 4-7 p.m.

In addition to the Springfield Town Center location, the Texas-based chain has opened a restaurant in Fairfax and plans more in the area.
