LEESBURG, VA — Burglars crashed a vehicle into a gun store in Leesburg on Thursday morning, the town's police department said.

No injuries were reported in the crash or the burglary.

Authorities said four masked burglars entered the store after the crash and stole multiple long guns.

Around 4 a.m. on Thursday, people in the area of the Loudoun Guns on Industrial Court in Leesburg reported hearing a loud noise. When police officers reached the gun store, they found that a vehicle was lodged in the building after crashing into the front doors, according to the police report.

Police officers checked the building, but they did not find anyone inside. Investigators said the crashed car had previously been reported stolen.

In a release on Thursday morning, police officials said officers were still investigating the incident and more information would be released later.
