MCLEAN, VA — Former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D) hosted a garden party Tuesday at his McLean home, where $8 million was expected to be raised for President Joe Biden's reelection campaign, according to reports.

The event included appearances by former President Bill Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, according to Axios.

The two-tiered event began with a reception, which was followed by a more exclusive and expensive dinner, Axios reported. That's where planners expected the big-money contributions to be made.
