Fairfax County Park Authority to Honor America's Veterans

RECenter admission will be free on Nov. 11 for veterans and immediate family members.

The Fairfax County Park Authority will provide complimentary RECenter admission at its nine RECenters on Tuesday, Nov. 11, Veteran’s Day, according to a news release from Fairfax County. Here’s more about the endeavor from the release:

Veterans and their immediate family members can use the pools and spas, fitness rooms, gyms and racquetball courts at no cost during this one-day event. Veterans may also participate in drop-in fitness classes at no charge.

“I invite all those who currently serve, and those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces to come to our RECenters on Veteran’s Day,” said Park Authority Director Kirk Kincannon. He added, “Bring your family and enjoy. This is our way of saying thank you for your service to our country.”
