TYSONS, VA — A new business called Smok'd filed for a special use permit from Fairfax County that would allow it to convert a commercial space in Tysons to an indoor firing range, according to reports.

The company is seeking to convert three suites at 8453 Tyco Road an indoor firing range. The suites are currently being used as a fitness studio and gold into cash business , according to FFXNow.

Kyle Ray and Aaron Waldrop are the people behind the application, according to a Washington Business Journal, which broke the story on Monday.

“The range will offer a new indoor recreation and entertainment option in a convenient location that will provide recreational diversity in this part of Fairfax County,” Odin, Feldman & Pittleman land use attorney Sara Mariska, the applicant’s representative, wrote in the statement, which was reported by FFX Now.
