ALEXANDRIA, VA — DC-based brewery Atlas Brew Works is ready to let the beer flow at its newest location at Alexandria's Carlyle Crossing development.

Atlas Alexandria Brewery & Tap Room will open to the public at 11 a.m. on Friday at 2429 Mandeville Lane in Alexandria. The brewery is partnering with Andy's Pizza to serve food in addition to its signature beers. To celebrate opening weekend, Atlas Alexandria will provide a free slice of Andy's Pizza with a pint of beer purchase from June 21 to June 23.

The 6,000 square-foot brewery's highlights include a long beer hall-style bar, a patio, pinball machines and other nostalgic games, and six bright tanks. Like the Atlas location in Navy Yard, Atlas Alexandria will have Andy’s Pizza with pizza, salads, wings, and fries.

Customers can rent a semi-private space for celebrations and social gathering. Beer tastings and tours for groups can be booked as well. The new Alexandria location is within walking distance of the Eisenhower Avenue and King Street Metro stations.

Atlas Brew Works plans to use sustainable energy at the location. The brewery and kitchen will be powered by 100 percent electricity without fossil fuel usage and use water reclamation in brewing processes to save water and energy usage. The DC-based brewery has been solar powered since August 2015.
