Vienna Boutique Raises Funds for Local Causes with 'Fashion Support' Rack

First donation goes to The Women's Center.

LiLi The First, the clothing and accessories boutique in Vienna has established a “Fashion Support” rack — donations of new and lightly used upscale items sold in the boutique, with 100 percent of the profit going to local causes.

Recently the boutique donated 100 percent of the amount raised from the new fundraising venture, $500, to The Women’s Center to use toward support and empowerment of women in the community through education, training, mediation, financial planning and more.

LiLi The First boutique is striving to bring versatile and sophisticated fashion from around the world and provide a memorable shopping experience to its customers.

The mission of The Women’s Center is to significantly improve the psychological, career, financial and legal well-being of women, men, teens and children, regardless of their ability to pay.

“As a business owner, I feel honored and obligated to support women in the community I am serving,” said Ifat Pridan, owner of LiLi The First. “This joint effort of LiLi The First and the First Ladies (my dear customers), has been a success in terms of donations of clothing as well as purchases of the items. It is a lovely example of a cycle of women who are supporting each other.”

“We were so honored to have been chosen by LiLi The First to be the first beneficiary of the Fashion Support Rack, and have been overwhelmed by the support from the community in terms of donations to and purchases from the rack, as well as direct donations and volunteering that have arisen from this partnership,” said Shirley Clark, executive director of The Women’s Center. “Ifat and her ‘First Ladies’ have demonstrated a real commitment to the community and we could not be happier to have been a part of this program.”
