The department said officers responded to the DeLand Municipal Airport just before 2:30 p.m. local time. "The preliminary investigation revealed two skydivers collided mid-air," police said. According to The Daytona Beach News-Journal, the accident took place at Skydive Deland, which is located at the airport.
