In PEOPLE's exclusive first look at the Monday, Aug. 12 episode of The Other Way, Meitalia and James sit down with her parents and Meitalia expresses extreme guilt for inflicting stress onto them. As she begins to cry, no one can seem to comfort her. “We don’t want to put more burden on you two,” she says through her tears. “I’m already burdening you my whole life, and I can’t keep burdening you even after I’m married.” Despite her feelings, Meitalia’s mother assures her that “it’s not a problem for me,” and her father shares a similar sentiment. “When you have children in the future, you have to take responsibility for them,” he explains. “You can discuss like this too with your children.” 90 Day: James Laughs Through His Fear of Meitalia's Threats as She Admits to Going from '1 to 1,000' (Exclusive) James (left) and Meitalia (right). TLC Still, Meitalia’s cry turns into sobs and she is struggling to catch her breath. As she buries her head in her hands, James sits beside her, unsure what to do. “Mom, I'm coming back home and giving you more problems,” she says as her mother gets up to hug her. “Kiss her feet and ask for her forgiveness,” her father suggests, telling his wife to sit down. “Now you can kiss her feet.” Meitalia is quick to stand up and kneel to her mom, kissing each of her feet and apologizing profusely. “I'm so sorry mom,” she cries. “Ask for her forgiveness,” her dad insists. “ I'm so, so sorry,” Meitalia continues. 90 Day's Sarper Questions Shekinah's 'Trust Issues' After Admitting He Slept with Nearly 3,000 Women — Including '4½' Per Day Meanwhile, James is watching from the side, wondering why his wife is experiencing such extreme emotions. “Things have escalated very, very quickly,” he tells cameras. “I have no idea what’s happening anymore. In the last episode of the TLC series, Meitalia confessed that she hadn’t told her parents she and James were permanently moving back to Indonesia. Once he arrived, Meitalia’s parents were also frustrated that James hadn’t kept his vow to learn Indonesian, leading him to panic about other promises to be the breadwinner and have kids with Meitalia, which he was unsure he could keep. “It’s disturbingly clear that the three promises are still important to them," he said in the Aug. 5 episode. 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
