The 28-year-old singer served up some captivating choreography at Saturday's awards ceremony at London's O2 Arena as she made her first performance since 2021. Before winning her seventh award at the event for best pop act, Lipa opened the BRITs with her hit single “Training Season,” with a different routine than the one she delivered at the Grammy Awards last month. She danced and sang in a black leather jacket, shorts and boots before dancers started floating around during verse two of the song. After Lipa belted out the bridge, two floating dancers grabbed her arms and lifted her off the ground, She proceeded to levitate in the air. BRITs 2024: See the Complete List of Winners Ahead of Saturday’s event, Lipa shared a carousel post on Instagram to update fans on her rehearsals for the awards show. “I been deep in BRITS rehearsals and haven't had anything to post but here are some bts shots from the shoot 🪢,” her caption read alongside snaps of her photo shoot. “Seeee ya tomorrow!!!!!!” In the first photo, Lipa rested her head by the edge of a pool. She then turned her back slightly to the camera in the second photo, while the third featured a close-up side profile. The “Levitating” singer then rested against a wall in a vest top in the final photo. Lipa was also nominated for artist of the year and song of the year, but lost both categories to RAYE. Lipa’s BRIT Awards performance comes after she attended the 2024 BAFTAs afterparty with actor Callum Turner in February.
