The 47-year-old former Poison frontman – and Celebrity Apprentice contestant – spiked a fever overnight, which could be a sign of an infection, his rep said in a statement. Michaels, who’s currently on his Roses and Thorns tour, was rushed to a hospital in San Antonio Sunday after suffering from excruciating stomach pains originally thought to be symptoms of the stomach flu. A CT scan showed that his appendix was about to burst. Michaels, who is diabetic, had an emergency appendectomy at 1 a.m. Monday.
