She recently hosted the CMA Awards, released her third CD, Play On, and just wrapped up her variety special Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Holiday Special. “It was a lot of fun to tape and I think we ended up with a great show,” Underwood says of her very own two-hour special. The singer, 26, teams up with an impressive list of stars on her show (airing Dec. 7 on FOX at 8 p.m. ET), including her CMA Awards co-host Brad Paisley, Kristin Chenoweth, David Cook and country legend Dolly Parton. It was “such a special moment for me in the show to be able to perform with her.” But on Christmas day you won’t find this Oklahoma native on any sound stage – she’ll be home for the holidays. “We are together and that’s the most important thing,” says Underwood of spending time with her family, adding, “My mom always makes a broccoli cheese casserole and potato casserole. I just love food!”
