Justin to Share MTV Gig; Fans Sue Creed

That Justin Timberlake sure does get around.

Fresh from his win as the burping champion at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, the pop star, 22, will join Seann William Scott, 26, of “Bulletproof Monk” and the “American Pie” movies, as co-hosts of the May 31 MTV Movie Awards.

The ceremony — which hands the gold to the screen’s best villain and best kisser (actors are acknowledged for just acting too) — will take place May 31 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and will be bleeped for broadcast days later.

“You could not ask for a more dynamic duo than Justin and Seann to help celebrate the year in movies,” MTV president Van Toffler tells the Associated Press, promising that the event will be riddled with “celebrity sloppiness and fun.”

And speaking of celebrity sloppiness, Christian rock band Creed is being sued by disgruntled concertgoers demanding a refund, CNN and Court TV report, because lead singer Scott Stapp, 29, “was so intoxicated and/or medicated” he couldn’t perform at a Dec. 29 show outside Chicago, according to legal papers filed Monday in Cook County Circuit Court.

The band has apologized to fans for the “unique show” but refused to issue refunds.

Besides the $55.50 ticket purchase price, the fans are also seeking to be reimbursed for their paid parking.
