One Direction will embark on an extended hiatus starting in March of next year, PEOPLE has learned. The group, which is now made up of Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan, has mutually agreed to take at least a year long break from the band to pursue their own projects, a source confirms to PEOPLE. This break also means there will not be a tour for their fifth album, which is expected to be released later this year. The boys will continue to promote the album through February.
