Christina Hall (neé Haack) is one of the most recognizable faces of the HGTV network.

The home renovation guru first appeared on the small screen alongside then-husband Tarek El Moussa in 2013 on their show, Flip or Flop; the series was a runaway hit and her star rose exponentially.

And while Hall has found much success in her career, she has also had her fair share of ups and downs in the public eye — between her three very public marriages and a tough custody battle with her second husband.

Now, the reality TV star finds herself in the news once again as Joshua Hall — whom she married in 2021 — filed for divorce on July 16, citing "irreconcilable differences."

Below, take a look at Christina's rollercoaster life since finding fame.

When Christina first appeared on HGTV back in 2013, the then 30-year-old was well into her marriage with fellow real estate agent Tarek El Moussa.

The two first met in 2005 and were wed in 2009. They welcomed two kids together — daughter Taylor Reese, who was born in September 2010, and son Brayden James, who joined the family in August 2015.

With their real estate careers going strong, the couple found success in flipping houses and decided to take their passions to the next level. They sent an audition tape to HGTV and shortly thereafter, the network sent back a camera crew to film more footage. The rest is history.

The pair debuted their show Flip or Flop in 2013 and it was an instant hit. The two served as co-hosts until it went off air in 2022.

On May 23, 2016, police were dispatched to the Chino Hills State Park Main Ridge Trail after a call came in stating that there was "possibly [a] suicidal male with a gun."

At the time, a witness working next door to the couple's home revealed he saw El Moussa “run out of his back door” and “jump over his back fence” before heading toward the trail. Hall, who was “crying and shaking,” had already called 911.

While speaking about the incident on the Today show the following year, El Moussa claimed that he was never suicidal and that he went for a hike and took the gun to protect himself against wild animals.

"There’s mountain lions, bobcats and rattlesnakes and big wildlife back there … I went out for a hike to scout some trails, it wasn’t even a big deal. I didn’t understand,” he said of the incident. “It got really blown out of proportion.”

Months after the incident, the couple announced their separation on Dec. 12, 2016.

"Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage," the pair wrote in a statement. "We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed."

"During the process, we are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be. We will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together," the statement concluded.

Tarek officially filed for divorce in January 2017; the split was finalized in January 2018.

"Ant and I have made the difficult decision to separate," the Christina on the Coast host said in an Instagram post shared on Sept. 8, 2020. "We are grateful for each other and as always, our children will remain our priority. We appreciate your support and ask for privacy for us and our family as we navigate the future."

On April 27, 2022, Anstead filed a motion asking for full custody of the couple's son.

The Celebrity IOU host claimed he had been the "primary parent" and alleged that Christina only spent an "average of 9 full days each month over the last 20 months and an average of 7 full days per month in 2022" with Hudson.

"What Ant is doing deeply saddens me. If this was really about Hudson, as he says, this should have been handled privately with a private judge or mediation, as myself and my attorney have suggested," she told PEOPLE at the time.

"I have had my share of ups and downs, but I am a good mom, and I love my children with all my heart, and I will always protect them," she added.

The two managed to settle in December 2022, as a judge decided both parents would have joint legal and joint physical custody of their son.

Christina Reveals She Smoked a Bufo Toad

According to Christina, meeting Joshua when she did was extra special because she had taken some steps toward self-discovery — including smoking a Bufo toad.

"I met Josh when I wasn't in a state of fear or fight-or-flight … I had taken time off social, hired a spiritual coach and smoked a Bufo toad," she revealed at the time, adding that the substance "basically reset my brain and kicked out years of anxiety in 15 mins."

Mostly known as toad venom, the secretion of Bufo Alvarius toads has bufotenine and 5-MeO-DMT, which are known to have psychedelic properties. Though some people have said inhaling the vapors of the toad's secretion helps ease feelings of depression and stress, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) classifies both as controlled substances.

Still, it seemed the path of self-discovery aided Christina in navigating her new relationship with Josh.

"I felt immediately crazy protective over him," she added. "We've had a few solid months of just us getting to know each other and I've loved every second of it. So called 'fame' provides so many things but it comes with a cost. They build you up then tear you down."

In December 2022, the HGTV star revealed she had mercury and lead poisoning, most likely stemming from all the "bad flips" she had done.

In a series of Instagram Stories, the then-39-year-old said she underwent quantum biofeedback machine testing and the results showed she had "mercury and lead poisoning" as well as "small intestine bacteria overgrowth."

The following month, she revealed that she found out she had "an abnormal amount of gut bacteria."

"I did an expensive, super extensive panel and I got all my results back," she explained. "It tests for like 100 different types of molds, metals and bacterias, and my highest level of toxicity came back as an abnormal amount of gut bacteria, which is like SIBO [small intestine bacteria overgrowth] and also parasites. So those are my biggest conditions."

"I have a little bit of heavy metals going on too, so I'm on a cleanse and a parasite cleanse," the HGTV star continued. "I heard it gets worse before it gets better. It's pretty brutal but I'm hoping at the end I feel good."

In February 2023, the home renovation guru took fans through her journey of getting EBO2 treatment, which filters and treats the body's blood.
