On hosting the CMT Awards again:

Kimberly: It's a fun party.

Phillip: It's a great vibe, very loose.

Jimi: And it gives us a chance to be comedic a little bit. We can do some little skits.

Karen: And we change clothes like six times!

Kimberly: Yeah, that's Karen's favorite part. Six outfits.

DAN + SHAY

On posing with Little Big Town: "Trying our best to look as cute as Jimi and Phillip!"

BOBBY BONES

On his interest in politics: "I do feel like at some point I will hopefully be the governor of Arkansas, maybe even the president. I don't even like saying I want to be a politician because it's just such a grody word. I feel the only way I'm going to win is if they see me as them — 'cause that's the only reason I've been able to do anything so far."

LAUREN ALAINA

A highlight of the festival was a guitar pull with Alaina, Tenille Townes and Caylee Hammack that ended in a cover of Shania Twain's "Man! I Feel Like a Woman."

FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE

On baby boy names: "We're still kind of juggling a few, but we're going to narrow it down. He's going to show up right in the middle of touring season, so that's perfect. Hopefully he comes on a Monday!"

MICHAEL RAY

On wedding planning: "I have a system where I say yes, yes, yes, yes. And then on the fifth one I'd throw in some suggestions, very minute, like, 'Should there be more greenery on the tables?' and [fiancée Carly Pearce] says, 'No.' And I go, 'Okay.' Then I say yes to the next four, next five, so she doesn't think I'm just not completely paying attention."

OLD DOMINION

On what they'd call their own version of Dollywood: "We'd lobby for some sort of water attraction, like a waterpark. Old Dominion Splashdown."

LUKE COMBS

On new puppy Jojo: "He's the perfect size. He's 28 lbs. — big enough to not get stepped on, but small enough to not be in the way."

TENILLE TOWNES

On getting starstruck: "Miss Dolly Parton. Wouldn't that just be crazy? Can you imagine just going for lunch with Dolly Parton? That'd be the best thing. And all the wisdom that would come from like any amount of sentences from that woman."

MORGAN WALLEN

On getting starstruck: "Eric Church might be the only person that might star strike me. a little bit. ... He's my favorite."

LOCASH

On getting starstruck:

Chris: We've actually met Garth Brooks two or three times, but we still freak out when we meet Garth Brooks again.

Preston: He's just one of those guys.

Chris: I think he put a restraining order on me, but I'm not really sure. I didn't let go of his hand one time.

Preston: Chris is known for that. He did that to Derek Jeter too.

Chris: I did.

RUSSELL DICKERSON

On birthday plans: "I might go hunting for some turkeys. My dream day would be to get a turkey and then bring it home and smoke it on the Big Green Egg. That would be an amazing birthday."

CAYLEE HAMMACK

On walking her first red carpet: "It's a surreal experience to be here and be an artist on the same roster as the people that you've always looked up to. Being able to see my name on the same piece of paper with Tim McGraw — kill me. It's unreal. I feel like I'm in a dream."

CHRIS JANSON

On his upcoming album: "It's called Real Friends. I'm excited about that. We just picked it this past week. So you're the first person I've actually told that to."
