Inside Jesse Bongiovi and Jesse Light's All-Night Wedding in England! 'Hangovers Were Strongly Encouraged'

Jon Bon Jovi's eldest son, Jesse Bongiovi and his new wife Jesse Light are revealing all the details of their countryside wedding celebration!

The Hampton Water co-founder, 29, and the reality TV producer, 30, tied the knot at Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire, England, in late June, per Vogue.

The wedding location was the first choice for Light after falling in love with the property after visiting with her mother.

“Upon [me and my mom’s] first arrival, it was immediately the most magical place we'd ever been,” she told Vogue. “... It is stunningly beautiful, you are surrounded by animals, there are endless activities .. it feels like an adult summer camp. It became my dream wedding venue and I hoped one day I'd get married there.”

The four-day wedding event, planned with Alison Events, kicked off with a welcome dinner followed by a summer solstice party the night before the wedding and a goodbye brunch. The festivities all included “little details of our love story” throughout. “We just wanted everything to be distinctly us,” Light shared with Vogue. 

The couple's nuptials were officiated by Light's brother Taylor and the bride and groom wrote their own vows. “We wanted everyone to be present with us,” Light said. “We poured our hearts out to each other through our vows. There wasn’t a dry eye in the countryside."

The bride wore three Vivienne Westwood couture dresses on the big day, including a classic ballgown for her nuptials, followed later by a second corseted gown in Light’s favorite color of silver glitter and a silver crystal mini dress.

Bongiovi wore custom Ralph Lauren throughout the celebrations. 

After their vows, the newlyweds kissed at the altar to “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You” by Frankie Valli. “It felt like a movie,” Light shared of the special moment.

The party then headed over to a tent for cocktail hour, arriving to the tune of “Gimme Gimme Gimme” by ABBA, followed by a high-energy reception. Dinner included the newlywed’s favorite dish of plain pasta with butter and parmesan.

Guests then entered the first after-party of the night through a disco tunnel to Club Light as music guest Afrojack played.

The evening was capped off with late-night snacks for guests including Surf Lodge’s famous chicken tender tower ( a nod to where the couple first met in Montauk, N.Y. in 2018) ,and a pub party complete with a 14-piece Ibiza Live Orchestra.

“We danced till the sunrise and then jumped in the pool at 6 a.m.,” Light recalled. Not wanting the day to end, we all enjoyed breakfast and finally went to bed at 9 a.m. only to wake up for our goodbye brunch at 11 a.m. Hangovers were strongly encouraged.”

The pair's England wedding comes after the couple's first celebration on May 7 at the same Las Vegas chapel where Bongiovi's parents, Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Bongiovi, eloped in 1989.
