Walt Disney World is experiencing a stampede of sweetness.

On July 25, Disney Parks Blog announced that Disney World recently welcomed four Hartmann's mountain zebra foals to its family of more than 5,000 animals, part of a "stripe-tacular summer" at the Orlando attraction.

The four baby zebras reside at Disney's Animal Kingdom and Animal Kingdom Lodge. According to the Disney Parks Blog, the youngest of the four foals is a male Hartmann's mountain zebra born on July 16. The baby boy is currently bonding with second-time mom Aziza before joining Animal Kingdom's Harambe Wildlife Reserve herd.

Two of the new arrivals were born on July 8. On that day, second-time mom Juno gave birth to a baby girl named Cada at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and first-time mom Asha gave birth to a male foal, who was curious and standing tall hours after his birth. Asha herself was born at the park. Her mom, Heidi, still resides at Animal Kingdom, making the park home to three generations of Hartmann's mountain zebras.

Penne is the oldest of Disney World's new Hartmann's mountain zebra foals. The baby zebra arrived on June 13 at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Asha's mother, Heidi, gave birth to Penne, who weighed nearly 100 pounds shortly after birth.

The Hartmann's mountain zebra is one of three species of zebra at Disney World. The destination is also home to Grevy's zebra and the plains zebra.

The Association of Zoos and Aquariums oversees the plan, which ensures responsible breeding and genetic diversity of hundreds of captive animal species.
