Tina and Amy. Matt and Ben. Hannah and Paige. If that last set of best friends doesn't ring a bell, it will soon.

That’s because Hannah Berner and Paige DeSorbo are everywhere right now. The two met on Season 3 of Summer House where they parlayed their penchant for giggling nonstop into co-hosting a hit podcast, Giggly Squad. They’re about to take the show on the road, literally, with a 28-stop live tour this fall. Plus — they co-authored an advice book, How to Giggle —which comes out in the spring.

And when they’re not booked and busy together, DeSorbo, 31, can be found hosting her own Amazon Live show while Berner, 32, just starred in her first Netflix stand-up special. Like we said, they’re everywhere right now.

Despite their crazy schedules, the besties found time to shoot their first beauty campaign for Lancôme to celebrate the launch of the brand’s new Hypnôse Drama Mascara (and if you know anything about Lancôme mascara, then you know it’s elite). True to Berner and DeSorbo form, the spot, which was shot in Ulta Beauty and features them getting “caught” gossiping by The Lipstick Lesbians and even involves a lip reader, is a riot.

We chatted with the BFFs about getting glam, being passionate cat moms and what’s on their tour riders.

Why was this campaign a good fit for both of you?

Berner: They wanted to do this drama thing of how whenever two girls are gossiping, people think it's a big drama. When Paige and I have never talked about anything serious in our lives. But we're just freaking out about how good the mascara and the lip stuff looked on each other.
Also, my 83-year-old Nana loves Lancome, so we couldn't not do it. She swears by the Renergie serum and moisturizer

What products did you take home from the shoot and are still using?

DeSorbo: The thing I like the most is their mascara. I feel like I'm always trying new mascaras. I've tried all the really cheap ones. I've tried all the really expensive ones. And the Lancome one, honestly, I think it's the way their brushes are curved is different than other brands.

Berner: My makeup artist was obsessed with the Butterglow lip balm, because we like to layer a lot of lip liner. Paige got me into how you can put a product underneath and then another product and be a woman in S.T.E.M. and figure out what looks like good together.

You’re about to take Giggly Squad on tour. How long does it take you both to get ready for a show?

Berner: Paige has a glam squad who's worked with her, who is amazing and does her makeup a lot and they will take hours because they love to gossip, so I feel like he's done with your hair, but he'll do her hair for three hours because she just likes him touching her hair.

But in terms of us getting ready on tour, we can get ready really fast and Paige will even help me get ready. She's done my hair before, and we're actually very quick at getting ready because we prioritize napping, so we like to nap as long as we can up until the show and then quickly do a 20-minute makeup look.

So you don’t always have pro glam?

DeSorbo: We have gotten into many pickles with hair and makeup artists that we've never worked with before on tour, and one time Hannah got her hair done and right when the hairstyle left Hannah hysterically started crying, and I had to fix it for her.

Berner: I looked like a dance mom. No offense to dance moms, but it just wasn't hitting. Also, I kind of like taking risks to be like, “we're in Wyoming. What is this girl going to bring to the table?” And I'll challenge them. I'll be like, “I want this insane eye shadow look” and just see what happens, where Paige is more safe.

What’s your go to look?

DeSorbo: I like a very clean skin, dewy, with browns and tans for my eye shadows.

Berner: We joke that when Paige is ever in a coffin and needs her makeup done, I will tell them. She wants glowy, soft browns, and highlighter with a little blush. Not too much.

What's going to be on your Giggly tour rider?

DeSorbo: Our rider is actually very funny. We always have a cheese board, because you never know when you need cheese and crackers. Then I like Coca-Cola and Hannah's drink of choice is apple juice.

Berner: We also have popcorn. I get Turkey, but I've never eaten it. I just like it being there. The rider's really difficult and we didn't know that they actually just take it out of your pay. So it's not like they just, you like, oh, get me this fancy stuff. It's like, yeah, we'll get you fancy tequila, but it's out of your budget. So when we hear that I was like, I barely want popcorn.

DeSorbo: Yeah. Ditch the comfort cold cuts.

Hannah, you gave Paige a shout-out in the credits of your Netflix show for being your spray tanner. Can you give us the story behind that?

Berner: It was chaos before the show. I was more nervous than at my wedding on what I was going to wear and how I was going to look for this Netflix special. And Paige took it on herself.

DeSorbo: I just felt like a hairstylist and makeup artist were going to get credit, and I provided the spray tan, which is equally as important, and I wanted recognition.

Berner: I call her the Michelangelo of spray tans. She had brushes, and powder, she had the whole thing. She does it for herself. and she finally did it for me and I was like, "Paige, if you mess this up my career's, this is my stand-up career."

DeSorbo: I'm not going to lie. After I left, I was really scared that I had messed up a little bit. I couldn't say anything because I didn't want to make her anxious.

Did Paige sign off on the outfit you wore?

DeSorbo: When Hannah first said that she was doing a Netflix special, my immediate thought was like, "What is she going to wear?" The first outfit I sent her, I was like, "This is the outfit. You're going to look amazing. Order it." And she, obviously in true Hannah fashion, had to try on 1,000 different things and stressed us out literally till the night before she was filming, only to pick the original outfit that I had told her would look the best.

Berner: For standup, you have to be comfortable. I was doing the worm. And I had to be on my feet all night. So we were fighting in terms of what's the most stylish but also the most comfortable. I feel like I pulled off a bronze Power Ranger, which is kind of my vibe.

You’re both cat moms. Do your cats have play dates?

DeSorbo: We don't have play dates yet, because Butter really only likes Hannah. And Hannah loves that. But we will at some point get them together and have them meet.

Berner: Cats are kind of like us where we love attention, but we're not going to always want to hang out with everyone all the time.

A lot of girls look at your friendship and want something like that. What is your advice on making friends in your 30s?

DeSorbo: Having the same humor. That is truly what made Hannah and I become friends. Obviously we have a lot of differences, but we think the same things are funny. One of the reasons we love doing the live shows is not only getting to meet all the Gigglers, but a lot of Gigglers do meet their best friends there. A lot will come alone and then end up sitting next to another girl who's alone. And clearly they already know they have the same humor because they're there. And we have girls that have stayed friends for years because of it. So come to the Giggly Squad live show and you can meet your friends.
