In the new video, Blanchard is lying in a bed as she administers an at-home fetal doppler that amplifies the sound of her baby’s heartbeat. “There it is!” she says to the camera with a big smile,

“Hearing our baby’s heartbeat with a home doppler 💓 Leave your gender predictions on my poll 🥰,” she captioned the Instagram Reel.

Blanchard, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Ken Urker in January 2025, announced that she is a little over six months.

"This was not planned at all, it was completely unexpected, but we're both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood,” she said in the original YouTube announcement.

Shortly after her YouTube announcement, Blanchard exclusively told PEOPLE details about her pregnancy journey and noting that she let her “parole officer know that [she] was pregnant immediately.” Blanchard was released from prison on Dec. 28 for her role in the murder of her abusive mother in 2015.

“Little bump showing 🤰,” she captioned the photo.

On Wednesday, July 10, she posted an Instagram photo of her growing baby bump.

Blanchard's pregnancy follows a series of ups and downs of the soon-to-be mom’s newfound freedom and decisions. Since her prison release, Blanchard has made both physical changes — including getting matching tattoos with Urker — as well as changes to her personal relationships. In March, Blanchard left her now-estranged husband, Ryan Anderson, who she married while in prison in 2022.

After announcing her separation from Anderson, she rekindled her relationship with Urker, to whom she previously had been engaged. The couple broke off their engagement in 2019, before Blanchard went on to marry Anderson.

Blanchard officially filed for divorce from Anderson in April. Two months later, Urker moved to Louisiana from Texas to be closer to her.
