"We haven't really changed what we have in our own home after having children," says Brent, who is a doting dad to daughter Poppy, 4, and son Oskar, 1, with Berkus. "What we've done is change the materials and textures. All of this furniture, nothing is precious. All of the upholstery is pure performance fabric so you can take a wet rag to it. The idea is you're not afraid if your kids are jumping all over everything."

"The desk is inspired by the French '40s with the lines and silhouette," says Brent. "We fought really hard to introduce different finishes that felt obviously very luxe. The storage on the side is hidden, and the marble insert at the top is beautiful. All the nightstands and desks have USB ports."

Adds Berkus: "We pictured it in the corner of a living room, or it could be a vanity with a makeup mirror over it."

"It's been fun for us to push and talk about the practicality of everything," says Berkus. "The top lifts up and fixes as a tray so you can eat from the sofa. Everyone does that!"

"We like the proportion, and again it has storage underneath," says Berkus. "We tend to drape textiles over our headboards, so we wanted to give it a very clean base."

Adds Brent: "We wanted to make it impactful so if you couldn't buy the whole set or didn't want to, it's enough to make a statement. People always want to buy small furniture for small spaces, but it doesn't work."

"It's really special, and the connective tissue with all of this is trying to bring this nice quality at an affordable cost and for people to have some fun," says Brent. "We were part of every single step of this and will continue to be."

"This cabinet with the woven doors can have a rod across it in a children's room for clothing, or it could be in a dining room or home office," says Berkus. "The cool part about launching things in today's marketplace is the fact that we now see on Instagram when we're tagged in stuff exactly how people are using things, and usually it's not how we intended."

"The entire intention of the collection was that you can go in and buy a set if you want, or you can feel safe enough to mix and match," says Brent. "Every detail has been considered. The glass cabinets have lighting with glass shelves so you can see everything."
