Jessica Alba Jokes She Had '89 Near Death Experiences' While Hiking in Austria

Jessica Alba’s hiking excursion took an adventurous turn.

On Wednesday, Aug. 14, the actress and Honest Company founder, 43, shared an Instagram carousel featuring photos and videos documenting her family’s trip to Austria, which included some scary moments from her climb — 89 of them, she joked.

“While we thought we were going on a leisure #hike, we wound up having about 89 near death experiences — it was basically rock climbing with no ropes 😂🤣,” wrote Alba, who has three children with husband Cash Warren: daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13,  and son Hayes, 6.

“Full disclosure: Hayes, Haven and @cashwarren took the grassy route, but a group of us girls decided to take the longer/harder 🏞️ waterfall route,” she continued the caption.

“Honor sobbed after seeing a snake 🐍 and I almost fainted after looking down a few cliffs (#scaredofheights 😳) but we made it!!" she added. "I never felt more like a city girl in my entire life —hence my dramatization 🤭”

In the first snap, Alba poses solo in front of a scenic mountain backdrop. In another, the Trigger Warning actress poses with some of her pals, including celebrity fitness trainer Ramona Braganza. A video full of hiking highlights includes Honor crying after the snake sighting and Warren participating in a yodeling session.

“And sweet Cash 🤣 in this video makes my heart swell — our guide Louis asked him to yodel and it was everything, he was such a good sport 🙌🏽,” Alba added.

She also shared footage of a golf outing, where she practiced her swing with Warren and two friends.

“Our #golf morning was insanely gorgeous 🏌🏽‍♀️🏔️!,” she wrote. “We went to Golfclub Wilder Kaiser in Ellmau which is one of the most beautiful spots I’ve ever played 😍 — the views and course was bananas.”

She ended the post expressing gratitude to the Bio-Hotel Stanglwirt, an organic farm and luxury resort in Austria’s Tyrol region with views of the Wilder Kaiser mountain range in the Northern Limestone Alps.

The Austrian getaway wasn’t the only memorable vacation the family took this summer.

On Sunday, Aug. 11, Alba shared clips of their recent trip to the Greek island of Mykonos, where they were seen enjoying the local cuisine, swimming in the ocean and relaxing on a boat.

She also shared recommendations for other travelers, noting, "There are sooo many delicious restaurants with the best vibes, food & views on the island."

Her suggestions included both beachside bars with entertainment, like one spot called Scorpios, and more upscale dining destinations such as Nōema.

"Grateful for an amazing week in paradise 🧿☀️👙🐚🌈 ," Alba wrote.
