Jessica Simpson Flaunts Country Flair at Recording Studio After Clapping Back at Social Media Trolls

Jessica Simpson knows how to let an outfit do all the talking.

Days after clapping back at a social media follower who accused her of drinking again, Simpson, who has been sober for nearly seven years, showed that she wasn't letting the accusation get to her by heading to the recording studio in a sexy country outfit.

The 44-year-old, wearing a pink lace mini dress underneath a red mixed-print kimono with fringe detailing, placed her hands on her hips as she showed off the look outside Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles.

To complete the look, the mom of three wore sparkly bronze Laurel Knee High Boots from the Jessica Simpson Collection, oval sunglasses and a bright blue necklace with matching rings.

Simpson showed off the look on Instagram, leaving a singular music note emoji in the caption. Her mom, Tina Simpson, also commented on the Thursday, Aug. 8, post, writing, "🎶 🔥🎶🔥🎶."

The fashion designer opted for some of the same jewelry in a follow-up post on Friday, Aug. 9, where she rocked a satin floral print dress with the Immie Platform Sandals in Snake from the Jessica Simpson Collection.

The singer was accused of drinking alcohol again while marking her son Ace’s 11th birthday in an Instagram post on Monday, Aug. 5.

"I’m gonna be a braggin’ Mom for a moment and just say that I have the kindest, most handsome 11yr old son on the planet 💚🦀 Fun fact: we both find lucky pennies randomly every other week and use them to WIN my scratchers together 💫🍀 Mama loves you Ace Knute Johnson- OH SO VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!" wrote Simpson in the caption.

While many congratulated her son in the comment section, one Instagram user commented, "STOP DRINKING!" prompting Simpson's reply.

"I haven’t wanted or touched alcohol since October 2017 and it has been the best decision I’ve made for myself and for my family. Thank. You for your concern, but you have me very misunderstood. Sending love your way," her comment read.

The Dukes of Hazzard star confirmed in a November 2023 interview with Footwear News that she's working on new music.

"Writing music has become a beautiful therapeutic thing for me that I didn’t know was so natural, but it’s because I haven’t done it in so long," she told the outlet.
